    Default wood burning camp stove

    anyone know the best bang for your buck in a camp wood burning stove for tents with stove pipe exits? what things do i need to consider when buying one?

    I went with the one Davis tents sells. I think it is a summit stove. I got the next up size. With seasoned wood it will burn through the night. Although I normally don,t care if it does (good sleeping bag). I have a 12x14 wall tent with the 3/4floor. Works great. Give Davis tent a call. They are great folks to talk to.

    I really don't know anything about tent stoves. Although I have been considering a small Kifaru stove.

    Heats are 12 x 12 alaknac tent fine
    Obama.....

    This probably isn't helpful, but the best deals are always AFTER hunting season. Unless, of course, you need it for hunting season!

    I really want it more for survival/preparedness. Gotta be wood burning otherwise it defeats the purpose. Thanks for the ideas though
