If the President was in Greeley, why was the ENTIRE city of Englewood closed? From just past Broadway on Hampden, up to Dartmouth, over to Santa Fe, and I dunno how far south. I even saw Parker police there, and that's waaaay out of their jurisdiction, so I dunno what was going on.

They are owned by Threat Systems Intl. Hinds, Hips, Colts, Cubs and all sorts of other Soviet stuff can be seen in various test ranges flying against our guys.

Last time I was at Red Flag working ground ops up in Tonopah, I almost got a ride in one of their Hinds. Would have been too cool.

The Hind is without any doubt the meanest looking thing in the air. Here is one I saw in Africa earlier this year.

There were two choppers flying over Broomfield for a couple hours today, but they looked like traffic units, not military. Never seen traffic choppers in pairs though.

I fly out of Jeffco, the two chrisguy saw were from a helicopter school they have up there. I wish I'd been up earlier, I would have loved to have seen some Hinds... :mrgreen:

Thats a primary trainer. The Cessna 172 or the Rotor world. Lots of them at Pueblo Muni Airport.
