    Question Diameter & pitch of front stud Savage mk II

    Anyone know the diameter and pitch of the front stud on the Savage mkII?

    Looking for where it screws into the receiver.... appears to be something goofy like 5/16 - 32 pitch (or M8 .7 pitch?)
