Default Ruger 22 45 assembley problems

For the life of me I can not get this gun back together. The main spring will not go into the gun all the way. I cant get the bolt stop pin to seat the last 1/8 of an inch.

been working on this for days, I have checked every video and forum to get insights and nothing.

    Frustrated with this gun

Anyone have similar experiences and what did you do to get the pin to seat fully
    thanks

Make sure the barrel assy is seated fully back in the frame and make sure the hammer strut is engaging in its recess correctly. Holding the muzzle upwards @ 45 degrees helps guide the strut into place. This more than likely is the issue.
If not give me a yell.

    BP thanks
What it took was a BFH. I took the handle of the hammer, laid it across the mainspring, right at the bolt pin and gave it a quick bump and the pin seated.

Next, to shoot it and see if the wait was worth it.

First time I took mine apart I had the same reassembly issue.Found a helpful video on youtube. Like BP said hold the muzzle up and it falls into place. It's a great gun though.
