    Default Long range?

Any one know where I could find a place to shoot thats 300 to 1000 yards in the woods? Every spot I know about is about 100 yards max. When my 1903 is done I would really like to try it out at range.

Im not sure where this was taken but im looking for some thing like this

I know Pawnee Sportman's Center has a 200 yard range. There is rumor of a 440YD somewhere is Weld county, but I have yet to find it.

The south shooting spot has a 225yd. area, but we don't use it. If you come on this saturday I can show you the area. Karl pumpkinkiller Mann.

Pawnee National Grass lands.. if you're looking for a real and managed range, check out Byers (Gun Club). Other than that you're most likely looking at lucking into some place or heading to the Whittington Center. Might be one or another club around here with a longer range lane or 3.

    PWSA has a 425yd range.

I've found some 500yd spots around Taylor Reservoir.

There's a range outside Canon City that has a 1000yard range, maybe someone else knows the name or contact info.

    Tom mentioned that once also.

I kind of wondered if it was just a myth....

    No myth. www.royalgorgegunclub.com

I shoot my 50 and sometimes my Tubb there. Easier than driving to raton.

Get hold of Zak & Ray, they shoot those kinds of distances out at Pawnee regularly. I'm sure they'd be glad to meet you.

You can come shoot with Ray and I, you can shoot the Sporting Rifle Matches monthly at NRAWC, and you can shoot our side-matches at Camp Guernsey.
