Default (Nov 18th) news about sporting clays ranges

Went out to Colorado clays today. Hmmm, nice. it's now up to 15 stations and they have put even more money into it. Very nice.

There is a new place going to open by Elbert (down by quail run) in May 07 in the black forest. It will be managed by the same guys who own Colorado Clays and Mon-Thurs it's a Boy Scout FAcility and Fri-Sun it's open to the public. The guy said it's going to be amazing. So, plan that as an co-ar15 trip for now.

Cottonwood Clays (pueblo) sold at auction last month for 370,000. Apparantly a guy who lived right there bought it and is going to keep it as a shooting/clay range and offer bird hunting (which their permit allows), so there's more gossip for ya.

Also, got a note from Great Guns (near Ault) and on Dec 30th they are going to have a shotgun competition. 50 skeet, 50 trap, 50 sporting clays. $45 includes prizes and lunch. Sounds like fun.

If the weather is decent I might like to go to that sounds like fun.

    Thanks for the updates Brian.

Great news. Thats real close to the house. Maybe I can talk rtr to bring out his new Cynergy.

May 07 AR-15 fun shoot. Should we require an evil black shotgun portion? Maybe make it so its not one shot per bird just to make it more interesting. Kinda like IPSC meets Sporting Clays...
