Default units 29 or 38 for deer

anyone have any experience there or places to go?

    ATV accessible areas?

probably not going to camp, just head out from the house early and get up there.

    rifle buck tag for deer.

    any help is appreciated

Dont know what to tell you. Me and my hunting partner are headed to 38 in a couple of weeks also for deer. Hee has a buck tag and I have a doe. It is possible to hunt in Golden Gate state park on the Jeffco section. They only let 35 hunters in per day. We relly don't have a plan ourselves either.

I was just checking out the land ownership map and it looks like about 60% of that area is privately owned. Might want to check out the Ralston Creek SWA. If you do any scouting before then, I'd love to hear what you find.

Was shooting in Left hand one day several years ago before it was closed. A guy drove in, past all the shooters, parked at the end, saw him drag a buck out of the woods couple hours later. Crazy! According to DOW, supposed to be an abundance of deer in the foothills of 29 & 38, unfortunately mostly private so you may need to do some door knocking.

    good luck
