    And no I wont get another Taurus semi-auto. The last one I got was junk, so it will be a while before I try that again.

    I've got 2 of em' and have less problems with them than some others. Hell one of them is my carry, so I trust my life with it. I think you should give Taurus another look, they seem to have figured out how to get their acts together and considering the folks who are such die hard 1911 geeks and are talking so highly about the new Taurus 1911, well hey, it's your money not mine so who am I to judge? All I can say is that I'll be buying one as soon as the frame rail is seeing the light of day.

    I haven't had any problems with the M454 or the 617. Maybe it's just Me. about 1700rnds through the 454. 550 rnds of .38 and 350 rnds of .357 though the 617.

    Two STI widebody frames and slides showed up last Friday.

    Now to get them built up...
