I've been eyeing an ESEE-5 but the budget won't allow it so I think I'm going to end up with a Becker BK2. It looks like it's built like a damn tank.
Just ordered the Esee 5 with Molle Back and Accessory Pouch!!!

When it comes to backpacking and hiking, I find a good folder far preferable but that's just me. Weight adds up quickly with all of the items that typically go into a pack for high-elevation backpacking/hiking that is common in CO and while a giant fixed blade looks fantastic in Bob's Tactical Times Illustrated, that extra pound on my back is not a welcome addition.

I didn't want anything too big or cumbersome either which is why I went with the 4.
I actually even picked up an Izula as well for when I really want to save weight and space.

Benchmade Griptilian and a RAT-3 camping/hiking. Maybe an Izula around the neck. I seldom use an outdoor knife over 3".
The dayglo green/orange ESEE looks handy. I spent half an hour looking for the RAT-3 in high grass once.
