    Default Sw 15-22 mags fit ceiner .22 conversions

    the 15-22 mags functions flawlessly in my ar(they were a little wiggly) just wanted to give a heads up

    Yes. The S&W plastic mags are 2mm shorter than standard mags, because the S&W M&P 15-22 magwell was made shorter deliberately, to prevent insertion of standard AR centerfire magazines by mistake.

    A bit of tape or something to shim up the back will make them fit a regular AR just fine. And if you install the catch-22 long bolt catch, they activate your bolt hold-open, as well. However, that presumes you're willing to dedicate that lower to 22 only, or you're going to swap the bolt catch out when you change calibers.
