I had to spec out the 80 computers the company bought for the BBB. As a national provider, we were notorious for hundreds of billing complaints, particularly for not refunding prepayments. We became a member and were suddenly in good standing. I wouldn't have believed it, but I lived it. As with most things in this world, follow the money. The BBB is also not regulated or subject to oversight.
