    Default Pics of my build

Pretty basic RRA CAR-A4. Still need BUIS and mags, and to actually take it out and shoot it, but I like it so far.

Looks good! I definitely need to get one of those uppers. I like the proportions of the handguards and length of the upper with the collapsible stock.

    Yeah, I don't like the M4-style handguards. I much prefer the mid-length.

Hopefully next shoot I'm not throwing up in the morning (and it wasn't from drinking lol).

I had an A2 carry handle lined up from trv1911 here, but haven't heard from him. If I don't score that I guess I'll get a flip-down BUIS from somewhere. I want an Eotech at some point but there's no way I can afford that for a while.

Looks very cool. Nice to see you have not hung all that Mall Ninja stuff all over it. Simple is good.

Thanks. I've always been a big fan of simple. BUIS and Eotech are about the extent of the gadgetry that this rifle will probably get. I hate railed handguards, gimmicky stocks, lights, lasers, etc etc all over the AR. It's so beautiful in its stripped down form, why clutter it up?

nah nah nah, you just need both.

I like simple myself. Always did until it became a tool. then the tool had to work well for me. So I added some stuff.

I think I found the YHM fold-down for about $75 online somewhere, so I'll probably end up going with that one.

Have you lined up a quantity of magazines yet? there is a shop here in Colorado Springs (Let's Make a Deal Pawn on North Academy, just north of Austin Bluffs) with several. i know his prices are fair. If he is out, there is a Mil surp store just south of Austin Bluffs that usually has a few AR mags in.
