Default Little bit of cleanup on a pair of knives

Got 2 knives in from a guy for some cleanup work. Got one done for him and thought I would share. Hope to get number 2 today or this week sometime. I don't get many old folders like this in. Enjoy

Still need to clean the other one up, but this one is ready to go.

The BSA knife is the spitting image of my first real knife, as a kid. If there was a nick on the front half of the blade (always make sure the electricity is turned off), I'd be PMing you right now.

    Nice knives.

I've got a Gerber Applegate/Fairbairn Covert Folder that could use a little TLC. It's a first production run model. It has an ATS-34 blade. Aside from some obvious cleaning and lubrication, it is missing one tiny screw and the pocket clip is a piece of junk. The clip has been bent and straightened multiple times and bends easily and has no tension.

I've always thought about finding a new pocket clip for it and replacing the missing screw but I just don't have the time or patience for it. Not sure I would have any use for it nowadays anyways. Shoot me a PM if this is something you might want to tinker with or if you might be interested in buying it from me cheap.

    Missing screw.

    "Sprung" pocket clip.
