Has anyone tried it? Good? Bad? I am trying to get our manager to let us try it out in our trucks. The B-20 blend is what is available. I,m looking for some first hand use info. Thanks.

since the introduction of this crappy ulsd, I have been reading up on biodiesel myself, until I make the switch I've been adding 1 qt. of 2stroke oil to a tankfull of fuel, in my freightliner and my personal truck. my chevy sounded like a ford or dodge before doing this. worst I could find on biodiesel is during cold weather it will clog fuel filters. so if you keep a couple of extra filters around there should be no problems. the lubricant properties of the bio. are superior to the new fuel out there imho, below are a couple of links for some good reading and info on the subject.

when they first tried it out in the city of boulder, it caused problems in the fire trucks...needless to say.. they prohibited it from further use. (newer versions & YMMV)
What I'm interested in is running on veggie oil.
A friend of mine converted a mercedes & is very happy with how it's going. He has been buying new veggie oil in bulk from Sams club - quite a bit cheaper than biodiesel.
Of course, this has more potential problems with filter clogging than biodiesel, but to me the cost factor is very attractive
