Don't be stupid!!!!!
I have a couple of Leathermans, and both have been broken by abuse, and both repaired under their warranty. Only cost me postage to send it. Can't beat that.
My T.P. wheeling and dealing feedback is here.
Opinions are like assholes, everybody has one, and it stinks more than mine.

I have several. I have a Gerber Diesel, simply because it was issued by my employer. It's OK, but not great. My usual carry multi-tool is a Leatherman Skeletool, because it's light and has just enough bits to do most of what I usually need (aircraft mechanic) without having too much. I also have a couple of SOG multitools including my absolute favorite multitool, the (now discontinued) Tool Clip.
I stick to either Leatherman or SOG anymore. SOG is nice because you can buy different tools to customize your multitool(http://sogknives.com/store/components.html), and their multitools are built like a tank. Some of them are also compound leverage, making cutting and holding on to things easier.

Anything leatherman really, I had a a wave and loved it until someone at work thought they needed it more then I did. Have a leatherman core in my get home bag. I usually have a leatherman juice S2 on me when I'm out and about (think of it as a swiss army knife on steriods). When I'm at work I carry a leatherman blast. I have a fuse in my range bag. As well I have a wingman in my EDC bag (I don't recommend it) mainly as a cheap back up/loaner
