Going on vacation to where the snow does not fly...
neither does [legal] CCW fly...
[I will not carry illegally!]
Darn!
Walking around unarmed is going to be hard to stomach!

Can one legally carry pepper spray where you are going? It's something at least.
This is where some hand to hand combat/self-defense knowledge is imperative, for those "I have to go to Kalifornia" and the like situations.

you can carry in vegas and get this in a casino as well. looked into a security job there. was told by sec supervisor carry in casino's is allowed. although they ask patron if they would like to check it in.Originally Posted by kwando

If you have a Nevada permit, that would be true. Nevada has no reciprocity with anyone.Originally Posted by jim

they did not ask where my CCW was from. in fact they did not ask if i even had one. i inquired about a security job and the ccw issue never came up, after they asked what if any quals i had.Originally Posted by Wulf202
i carry almost everywhere. and or have a handgun in vehicle. (unloaded, and secure of course) when traveling out of state. don't you ?
on another trip we stayed overnight in vegas. instead of keeping the guns in the truck. i asked what the policy of the hotel/casino we were staying at was regarding guns. they told me it would be safer if i checked them in with security, then be in vehicle or hotel room. outside of checking them in they never blinked about what we had with us.
prostitutes, drugs, gang issues, etc. an honest citizen wanting to secure their firearms, is the least of their problems.
