Default Best type of shock collar

I am looking for a decent shock collar for a yellow lab. Im training her to be a hunting dog and its been ten years since ive trained a dog and used an e-collar. Does anyone have any recommendations on a good one?

Gotta second this, I've trained with almost every brand out there and have always come back to the Tri-Tronics.

Tri-Tronics are expensive to get into but they are by far better than anything else on the market. You get what you pay for. I run 2 dogs on a G3 Upland and it has been great. I don't think you can go wrong with them.

SPORTDOG single dog unit. SW1. We use one daily without issues. Been working for about a year.

Thanks guys, i was kind of leaning to the sport dog one so it didnt hurt the bank so much. I was hoping not to have to use one but my yellow lab is kind of stubborn. She listens to me ok but doesnt like to come when i tell her too and doesnt really like to listen to my wife.

I have a sportdog for my lab (the 400 I think... the camo one), about a month after I bought it I had an issue with the antenna in the remote, basically it would only work about 3" away from the collar, I bought it open box"new" on ebay so no warranty. Opened up the remote fiddled with the screw to the antenna wire and it worked again. Besides the one issue it's worked great since, truly water proof and the options for how you use the buttons are pretty cool too. I did read a few bad reviews from people who had the same problem with the extremely short distance of operation, so apparently its a common issue but if I remember right their customer service was good. IMHO, if you go with a sportdog, buy it new from a reputable retailer, register it and save your receipt just in case.
I've also used the innotek contain n train system which worked great for its use but really wouldn't be suited for training for hunting. I have a pitbull that's an escape artist with seperation anxiety, it kept him from tearing through the fence outside and I could put the zone discs by the front door and windows so he'd stop trying to tear through them.
