Thread: My CCW expired!

    they sent me a reminder in the mail 2 months in advance or i would have forgot too. it took about two weeks to get my new one in. the paper they sent me said to expect long delays because everyone in el paso county expired in a 60 day period. i think its because of the elections for sherriff making them expire at the end of andersons term and we all renewed at once back then

    Did he do that after the new CCW law passed?? If so that's illegal and he could get in hot water. I'd ask the state AG to inform him of the law - in a very nice, polite way of course. You do need to get those forms signed off on, after all.

    Yup, I was pretty po'd too, but like you say, form 4's are at his discretion, so..... I chose not to engage in a battle over this minor issue. I mean after all, it only takes a few minutes up here (county of 10,000). Karl.

    Got my new card in the mail today. Expires 2012.
