    The HK91/G3, again, is a CETME copy. Not vice versa.
    I stand corrected about who borrowed whose design after Germany wasn't allowed to license the FAL.

    I had the problem through the entire range of gas adjustment. How could Century manage that with a presumably in-spec receiver and probably the best parts kit out there?

    Centrarchidae, the problem probably may have been your receiver, and was probably more the trained monkey who put it together. FALs, like an M1A, aren't as forgiving with their machined receivers and tighter tolerances, unlike an AK or HK/CETME. Explains why DSA pulls 1K + for theirs. I do agree that Century does throw shat together, as the Century FAL I owned was a bastardized Century reciever with British and Imbel parts. It still went "boom" when I pulled the trigger though!
