Default Legal Hunting with Suppressor U.S. Map

An acquaintance of mine (from the net) and I started this project to document the states where "Hunting with a Suppressor" was legal, specifically what the law was in each state: Prohibited, Non-Game Animals Only, All Game. It is based on the Gemtech document posted earlier in this thread.

This map was last updated on April 2, 2012 (as timestamped).

That would be fantastic for busting song dogs.

You can't even own a suppressor in Wyoming?

Nice map! Kinda surprising some of the states that totally ban them, some others, not so surprising.

    Irving,
I know you can own a suppressor in WY. There was an MG shoot up in Casper this last weekend.

What the map addresses is (in this case) is if either possession is prohibited or hunting with a suppressor is prohibited. Those two situations are combined in the map, with respect to hunting with a can, as they are the same (i.e. you can't do it). The map's primary purpose is to address whether you can hunt with a can, and what you can hunt (varmints/non-game, or game and non-game animals).

I hope this makes it clear.

I was pretty sure that you could own one in Wyoming. The way it is worded on the map, with the use of the word "or" made it confusing.
