    Cool looking rig Alan!!

FYI. Here is a screen shot from the 2006/2007 Colorado Division of Wildlife Small Game booklet. See #3. Use of NV gear doesn't look to be legal.

FYI, My friend in TEXAS has a hog deprecation permit for some land he owns, so we won't shooting critters at night here in Colorado. It is legal in Texas.

The use of things like machineguns and silencers and such is only legal for a small category of animals and only under certain circumstances as I recall. I think they have to be varmints, and in some cases you can only use these weapons/devices on private property with permission. I'd check with DOW before using anything not specified in the booklet. Karl.

Suppressors are legal to hunt any game animal in CO.
MG's are legal for all small game except of course those restricted to shotguns.

As far as yotes I have hunted them at night with DOW blessing. I had to go to the DOW office in the area I was hunting and get a permit. This was a few years ago and things might have changed but it was perfectly legal. We could use ANY method we wanted to take them. I will call DOW to see if things have changed.

I couldn’t find anything in the Small Game regs. prohibiting mufflers or MG’s so we are good to go there. MG’s are prohibited for Big game. SBR’s and SBS’s are prohibited for everything.

Tim, let us know what you find out after you talk to DOW.

suppressors are ok. i called about a month ago. i'm fairly sure night vision is not ok, if they want to come out at night on my property and try and find me to discuss it, they are more than welcome to try.
