Bad eyes need glass. Iron sights are my second choice - can't beat rugged reliability.

I've got an aimpoint and ironsights... I like both.

Iron sights for now. But I am actually on the look out for a good mounting system and scope for a Varminter that I am building.

3-9x40 on a 20" A2 for 100-300 yds at the range. I also have the KNS crosshair front sight that replaces the post and that works perfectly at closer distances. Scope is mounted on a see-through bracket for instant access to both systems.

It seems the consensus is that those wwho have multiple AR's have them set up differently.

    20" H-Bar Flat top/gas block Scoped 15x fixed
    16" H-Bar A2 z-bar co-witness Red Dot
    16" Eliminator A4 iron sites
    16" M4 Red Dot co-witness BUIS
    7.5" Pistol Red Dot
I say lets all remove the warning labels and let nature take its course.
