This is a bad one - 22 dead.

whats up with these contradictions in the story
The school's Web site earlier said one shooter was in custody and officials searched for a second shooter as "part of routine police procedure," but during the press conference Monday, police said they believe there was only one shooter.

Police also said there is no evidence the two shootings at opposite ends of campus were related.
Prayers headed out to alot of families today.

ya this one is bad... the numbers gone up to 32 now... worst in the country

Another reason to arm teachers and staff... but i doubt that'll happen

I go to college atm and i know how vulnerable we really are in schools, we have one cop on campus but by the time he could even respond the incedent would have had a chance to occour. Even at that one cop isnt enough for an entire college, because what happens if the shooter takes him out first? Than the college is completly armless untill more help arrives.

The bad guys will always carry stuff into schools when they want to do somthing like this and the reason they are so vulnerable is because of the fact that no one is allowed to legally be armed in such facilities... I understand maybee students shouldnt be allowed to carry but what i dont understand is why professors and other faculty cant be armed...

You don't kill 32 and wound 28 with a pistol if the people are running all over the place. I'm so tired of this "lock down" mentality. Do what your instincts tell you...fight or flight. If you didn't bring a gun to the gun fight, run like your life depends on it. The kids that ran at Columbine were the survivors. The ones that had adults follow the "lock down" recommendation had their heads messed with before they were executed.

If law-abiding people are allowed to arm themselves, the body count would be nowhere near this.

The only positive I can take from this is that there's a chance I will no longer have to hear the phrase "Columbine style attack".

You can't explain the irrational and the unexplainable, so you can be assured that the libtards will blame the guns.

ETA: ABC is trying to use the opportunity to run a poll question about gun control in relation to this shooting. Feel free to vote "no" and take away ammo that would feed their agenda.

remember, the only person the anti-gun laws helped in this situation is the CRIMINAL that commited the crime.

or to put it another way...

anti-gun laws helped kill those people today.

the anti's and their "feel good" laws do nothing but kill people, every freakin time.

I like how everyone goes off half cocked when something like this happens. People should always try to hold off blame until all the info comes in. Blaming the police, campus or real is ridiculous at this point. The police say they had a person of interest involved in the 1st shooting being questioned at the time of the second shooting. The figured they had a domestic problem with the first shooting and can would you think otherwise? A man and woman shot and killed. I imagine in that scenario, the majority of the time, it's a love triangle thing.

What pisses me off is the whole world knows that school campus' are like shooting fish in a barrel. "NO FIREARMS ALLOWED ON CAMPUS" Then the antigunners will say see evil guns gotta grab 'em. No is it weren't for your BS laws and regulations, maybe a professor would have had a gun. Maybe a 21 year old student would have had a gun.

But my real anger is at the media. No need to sensationalize with their words. This is the biggest story without the sensational words. Fussilodge(sp?) Salvo of gunshots. Campus catastrophe. Massacre. I'd break Geraldo's f*ckin nose again, if I run into him. He interrupts the interview to throw in those words. Media whores. Report the news, don't make it bigger then it already is. It's already horrible and won't be topped by the Attorney General firing lawyers.
