Dunno about local, but http://www.thewilderness.com/ is about the best damn non-dress belt I've ever had and it's mean to hold that kind of weight. Well worth the price.

I don't have a belt from them, but I will vouch for the fact that they make quality gear!

I like the "Frequent Flyer" belt from The Wilderness.

GALCO also has nice every-day leather belts.

I have three of the Wilderness Belts. My first was the metal buckle type and then I got two more with the plastic buckles for flying.

I also have three leather ones from Gunner's Alley (http://www.gunnersalley.com/product/GABELTHALF) for dress wear.

My wife can't stand the Wilderness Belts but I love them for casual wear with everything. I have Tan and Black. In the Gunner's Alley belts I have Black, Brown, and Cordovan in the 1.5" version. All are great for carrying concealed.

Get a real carry belt and you'll be amazed at the difference.

Not local but probably one of best deals out there for a solid belt at great price online is Aker B-21 sold at galls.com as Aker LP224 in 1.5".
