Buffer Tube diameter's

Anyone know the measurement differences between the milspec and civi (like RRA or Bushmaster) AR buffer tubes?

little if any.
outside of the name of the one you buy thay are all running the same.

I just need to know the diameter difference, there is an actual difference and it's enough that you can't simply swap stocks around if you don't pay attention to which type you have. I know that the diameter's are fairly close, but it is different enough to be a concern.

I measured mine which appears to be a Doublstar by the markings, and it measures 1.170 [postal]
