Default Time to pay an anti CCW BIOCH back!!!!

Here is some info we all need to have some fun with. It was posted on Pirate 4x4 by one of the members.
    Da Mule, getting even.....

    +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
My local paper is the one mentioned below, I know some people think it is ok to publish the names and addresses of concealed permit holders, but I do not. I have had my concealed permit since 95, and my address gets published every time I renew...let's show the Free Lance star what we really think

AND NOW FOR NANCY - Publish far and wide!

[If you decide to contact Ms. Moore, be firm, but polite]

The Free Lance-Star has decided that they would like to continue with what we at VCDL think is the very bad practice of publishing concealed handgun permit holder's names and addresses in their paper.

Well, we don't want the Free Lance-Star to feel left out of the sunshine that they so dearly want to shine on law-abiding citizens, so we've decided to start letting the rays of public information shine on the paper's staff.

Today we'll start with Nancy S. Moore, Managing Editor of the Free Lance Star.

Nancy lives at 314 Princess Anne St. in Fredericksburg, Virginia 22401.

Her home phone number is 540-373-2973.

Nancy's house was built in 1826 and is 2,583 square feet. The foundation is masonry and the exterior walls are brick/stone.

Nancy's house has a total of six rooms including 2 bedrooms, two full baths and three fireplaces.

Gee, Nancy. I hope you have inserts in those fireplaces, you wouldn't want all the heat going out the chimneys!

There's a full basement with a total of 720 square feet and the finished portion is 540 square feet which leaves 180 square feet unfinished.

Maybe a closet could be added?

Outside of the fireplaces, the house is heated with natural gas and hot water. Sewer is public underground. And, thankfully, Nancy's house, which was built in 1826, has been upgraded with air-conditioning for those hot summers in Fredericksburg.

On the financial side, for 1999 the total tax value was $214,000 and 2007 saw a very small increase to $217,300 (!).

That reflects a land value of $48,000 and an improvement value of $169,300.

We've added a picture of Nancy's home for those who might be curious:

This is just the start of our campaign of sunshine on the Free Lance Star. I expect we'll have more interesting tidbits about Nancy, soon.

In the meantime, we hope you've enjoyed lighting up Nancy's life as much as we have!

Lol he should've made specific mention of the fact that she does not own any guns, and therefore her house is perfectly safe to break into.

    Thanks for supporting this guy!

I was told by a guy on another board that his wife was published on that list.

Out of all of the boards I'm on, only UZItalk had deleted this post.
Where's Karl when you need him........

Hmm. http://www.uzitalk.com/forums/showthread.php?t=27036 Mule, what handle do you use on UT? I searched the deleted post archive and found no posts by a registered member named Mule.

Karl, Let's not go there. As someone who actively supported you in your dispute with Jeff (more than you probably know), I can tell you that your characterization of Jeff as a "Nazi" is unfair and libelous. Jeff is principled and sets very high ethical standards for moderators. I know. When I became one, I had to agree to abide by them. On this, he does not bend.

Jeff no longer runs UziTalk. His business has taken off and he has very little free time to spend on it. Although he has spent considerable money running the board as it has grown to over 5000 members, he did not accept advertising. He has donated the board to another member who can afford the time and expense to run it and has stepped back to an ordinary member.

There were many of us that asked you to stay. You chose to leave which is your decision. In all my many interactions with Jeff, I have never heard him speak ill of you.

Sorry Karl, I thought you had an in over there. My mistake.

I'm mule over there too. I just checked my acct and it's still active. But, I haven't been in state much, so I don't get over there.

He deleted it within a few minutes of posting it. I talked to him about it too, but as you say, he won't bend.
Too bad. I disagree with choosing a "False" higher moral standing on an issue that has it's own standard. He fails to see the importance of something like this weighed against the alternative. Moral standards are great if there is a real reason for it. Posting someone's info on a board that is posting other people's information in a local newspaper is justifiable. She thinks it's going to make people stop getting CCW licenses, she found out what harassment was like and backed off. My understanding is the paper has changed it's policy now on doing this. If this campaign didn't happen, the policy would not have been changed. Somehow I think Jeff would sing a different tune if his wife was on that list and she was getting harassing phone calls, letters and people at his house. But, then again, he may be the type that hands over his weapons because someone told him it's the right thing to do. I'm a little tired of people not absolutely standing up for our gun rights and watching out for each other. The "it's not right" attitude is eroding our 2nd amendment rights.
nuff said....... Soap box is away now and I'll take a breath.
