I will make this one weather permiting. Sorry I did not make yesterdays north shoot but because of my old age my memory caused a problem. I would have sworn I winterized my sprinkler system last fall. Well apparently not since I came home during the first freeze we had last november to find a water fountain on the side of my house. [balls]

So I spent the day fixing my sprinkler system and missed the shoot. :cry:

New guy here. I'm planning to make the next shoot (I only live 8 miles away) and I'm wondering what you do, besides the obvious. Informal competition, fun-with-tannerite, what?

I've got a bunch of armor plate steel targets I had made, good for hi-power. Should I bring them?

Someone give me a three sentence description of the festivities so I can bring the right toys! :mrgreen:

Oh, yeah, I'm just a little bit jazzed to shoot with some like minded types. My wife is pretty good fun, but she looks at me like I'm an idiot when I do 25 pushups before a pistol round to get my arms shaking. :roll: Maybe she's right.

Just show up bring what you want to shoot and shoot at, bring lunch whatever else comes to mind, we normally have a range officer to keep everyone on the same page but its very informal but very safe too I have only been to two shoots now and I think you will have a great time everyone is wonderful and I think as long as you bring your common sense with you, you will have a great time with us. The only problem with this crowd is they keep asking my son(13 yr old) if he wants to shoot their toys being very nice and all but all I see is his Christmas list getting longer and longer and longer you get the idea!! :mrgreen: :mrgreen:
