While I support the right to carry, you're being obtuse here. You violate the property owners rights by carrying despite his/her expressed wish that you not do so on his/her property. In the state of Colorado, the sign is NOT meaningless, it is an expression of their desired conduct on their property and you DO have the same obligation to obey that as you do a "No Shirt, No Shoes, No Service" sign at a store or restaurant. Sure, there are no criminal penalties for violating their property rights until you refuse to leave the property when asked to do so but that doesn't take away from the fact that you are violating their private property rights.

Now, if you want to say you are engaging in civil disobedience, that's fine. The history of civil disobedience is one of breaking rules and even laws in the pursuit of a greater good (as long as you're willing to abide by the consequences like being asked to leave or even being banned from the property) -- but it IS a violation of the owners' rights.
