No Gun Policies

I understand that thinking and honestly there's been times when I had to go into a business that was posted and I ignored their little sign.

HOWEVER, I still see "no guns" signs as a bigoted political statement and I really don't want to support businesses owned/run by small minded bigots any more than I have to.

Agree. but really who can even see let alone look for the sign. When it's eating time i see nothing but a menu

Just drove by there tonight to verify, and I'm ecstatic to report that there are in fact no longer no firearms signs at the Hollywood theater! So I'll be taking advantage of that fact and seeing the 4:15 showing of Atlas Shrugged II there tomorrow!

I know AMC down in Parker has signage that says "No firearms," can't recall any others though. I know that Bandimere Speedway has a no firearms policy, or they did a few years ago when I went there, not sure now, I haven't been in forever.

They have a sign? Never kept me from carrying into that theater and never will.

I really tried to avoid that implication. Please, I didn't mean to offend, I had seen the original signs, you hadn't, so I just wanted to make absolutely sure that they were gone before I showed up for Atlas Shrugged.

Which is a selfish, unprincipled, hypocritical position to take (don't violate my rights, but it's OK if I violate yours), but we've already beaten that dead horse several times.

Interestingly, the "No Firearms" signs at the ticket window for the Colorado Spring Cinemark/IMAX at First & Main Town Center seem to have disappeared. I generally stopped using the shopping center at all due to their subtly posted ban but went to Iron Man 3 at the IMAX and noticed the signs were no longer present. I wonder if the company finally got the message or if it was just the local manager; I may stop by First & Main to see if they still have a general ban or not.

Yep, First and Main still prohibits firearms except when carrying to the car after purchase. Bah.
