Tried Insanity - too high impact! I can run three miles on my knees but 40 minutes of Insanity has them blowing up.
Nothing like hiking to get ready for more hiking! Throw on a pack and hump a few miles at a good pace every week.

One work out that reminds me of insansity is kickboxing. Cardio, strength training and its fun. Being on the mats makes a big difference as well if you experience joint pains.

Insanity is great for cardio, but I feel like it targets the legs too much. My knees are a bit shot and all the lunges and squats kick my ass.
I've been doing Insanity 5 days a week for the last couple months. I'm getting lean and my cardio is good to go, but I don't feel like it's doing anything for my upper body. I think I may dial it back to Mon, Wed, Fri, and replace it with weight training on Tue, Thur, Sat to even it out.
