Well, figured that I might as well repost for people who forgot or are new

As you can still shoot West of 72 does anyone know of any good areas?
I normally go West of Jamestown but have no idea or any suitable areas West of 72?
The boulder office for the National Forest Service recommends shooting at bunce school road. I haven't been up there yet. Probably need a 4x4 to get in there.
I haven't been to Bunce in about a year or so but it wasn't bad then. I'd suggest a 4x4 but nothing extreme, a regular pick-up or jeep would do fine. Last year they were doing a lot of forest road work too, it maybe be smoother now. I may head up tomorrow and try out my new m&p9 I haven't shot yet. If so, I'll report back.
I spoke to a neighbor today that told me you can only shoot about 50 yards up there due to hills/trees. He was up there last year, but not this year so far.
It is hard to find a National Forest location that is open this year to shoot rifle other tan Pawnee, and that is a really far drive.
I've been up Bunce School Road and it works for me. I can play in my Jeep at the same time so I like it up there.
Was up on bunce a couple weeks ago. If you come in off hwy 7 you could take a car through about 3/4 of it. A few places to shoot pistol and maybe some clays with a shotgun but 50-75 yards max. One nicely cleared area is closed for restoration "no shooting". Hopefully the old dump is open next year, I never had a chance to get there before it closed
Johnny park road has a few also, found one I could get out to 150ish but slightly up hill. Another that you get around 150 but downhill. Both you could probably get a car to, again if you come off hwy 7 (not hwy 36, I don't even take my truck through there)
I tried Left Hand this weekend as I hadn't shot in ages.
Apart from the trash and the guy with the cannon what can I say. I think I've actually been in quieter firefights. On the plus side there didn't appear to be any complete idiots.
