Default IHEA online course - hunter safety

    http://homestudy.ihea.com/contents.htm

I went through this material as part of getting a hunter safety card before I bought my AR.

The 'Modern Firearms', 'Ammunition', 'Firearm Safety', and 'Shooting Skills' topics are a decent basic intro for someone new to guns.
It's no substitute for hands on training with someone experienced, but certainly worth considering as a supplement to hands on training.

What additional training (if any) did you need to get a Colo Hunter Safety Card?

What part of "shall not be infringed" don't you understand?

My teacher had it set up so after you complete the online course there's a 5 hour sit-down class, then the next day at the range each student shoots a string of shots then you're done.

BTW here in FC the teacher, Paul Gresky, was very good to learn from.
His shooting vest had patches for long range shooting up to 10,000 yards.
