I needed my safe moved. It is 6 feet tall, 28" deep (about 30" deep with handle minus spokes), and 42" wide. It weighs 1200# empty.

I had gotten Jim, at D&B Lockworks, name last year when I needed the door adjusted. My safe was under warranty and the manufacturer sent him out. I called him up this time and he came and moved my safe out of my old house, down the road and into my new house. No big deal right? Right.

Now, we had to take the safe down 15 steps to the basement. My safe takes up most of the width of the stair case. And at one point it must be completely laid back to fit under the overhang.

He moved it downstairs flawlessly.
