Default Co-AR15 Shotgun fun shoot June 2nd Colorado Clays

It's time for the CoAR-15 Shooters Club Shotgunners 2nd Annual Sporting Clay Fun Shoot

Saturday June 2nd, at Colorado Clays

have a shotgun but don't understand what those flying orange disks are?
Know what they are but can't hit?
hit them all the time and want to give Tom Freeman a hard time?

come on out to Colorado Clays with the rest of us misfits and have a great time.

If we tell them how many are coming the day before, they even make lunch for us (to buy, of course).
[url]It was a great tiem last year with about 8 of us going, and hopefully more this year. thanks to Wallary to really kicking this one off.

No, the shotgun type doesn't matter, bring what ya got. Even if you don't have some, Colorado Clays rents them too.

    Sporting Clays 100 targets $35.00
    2nd Round/Same Day Sporting $30.00
    Trap/Skeet 25 targets $7.00
    10 round punch card for Trap/Skeet $55.00
Gun Rental and Golf Cart Rental $20.00

    See ya there.

I am ok with that... Keeps me young and out of the bars.

I think I will shoot a round with the 525 and a round with the Benelli.

doubling without meaning too definately induces a flinch.

My 10 ga SXS did that before I got it fixed. I did not miss the goose but I thought I was going to need shoulder surgery. [abused]

I should be able to make it. All this pistol shooting has kept me away from my shotgun sports! My Browning is itching to get shot!

You can not shoot any shot larger than 7 1/2. So don't bring anything other than 7 1/2 to 9 shot. You can buy estate shells at sportsmans for $45 a flat (250 shells 7 1/2 shot). Yes 2/34 unless you like to spend lots of money on ammo. [wink]

As far as the rest of the rules we can go over that before the shoot on site. It's pretty simple you will get the hang of it with in a couple of stations.

Is it June 2nd yet? I can hardly wait for this one, it should be a great outing. If anyone is interested I have a side by side 20 gauge shotgun ( good for beginners or youth ) you can borrow for the shoot. Also I have a 12 gauge pump I could loan out. PM me and I'll make arrangements. Sometime before Memorial Day I need to let Rose at Colorado Clays know how many of us will be eating lunch at the Fun Shoot. She'll gives us a choice of chicken, burritos, or Spagetti. So if one of our fabulous Managers would post a sticky and get a head count on who's all coming and who will be eating there and what they perfer for lunch, I'm sure Rose would greatly appreciate it. Perhaps a poll would do the trick I don't know?
