Default Mini Rant on 5280 Armory

Most won't care but I have to vent in hopes the owner reads this and actually has some remorse for his attitude.

First, I've spent thousands in there since they opened. I made a purchase the first week he opened and have been a customer since. Today I stopped by to look at the used case and the owner told one of the workers he would help me. After waiting a while for him to get off his computer and listening to him complain about how most people have no idea what it takes to run a business (I've owned three), he finally got up to help me.

He was rude from the start and obviously aggravated he had to stop what he was doing to, god forbid, help a paying and loyal customer. I really wanted to drop the $1300 on the gun but just couldn't bring myself to give him my hard earned cash.

Maybe he was just having a bad day. I don't know. It's just disappointing when you get treated like shit for no apparent reason. The other employees there are awesome. Knowledgeable and always eager to spend the needed time with the customer to make them feel comfortable with their purchase.

Maybe, because he's so "busy" running his company, the owner lost track of the importance of treating your customers with decency.

    That's funny!

Nah it didn't warrant those and I'll be back to buy more cause they have been a good shop to deal with. It's just been a long time since a merchant made me feel so unwelcome. We were in town to do some shopping at Costco so I had my wife drop me off there while she did the dirty work. I left and walked to Costco. Felt a bit scary walking down Marshal with $1500 cash on me though.

Sure wish they were still in Pine!

Marshall in Arvada is hardly a bad area.

You here, read and see it in the media when interviewed after a violent crime was committed.

Who would have guessed, 1 minute you're watching the opening credits at a movie theater next thing gunfire.
Your right only need to carry in bad neighborhoods, safe is safe. Movie theaters, shopping malls, Dennys.

Agreed. More polite criticism than angry rant. Unleash the BEAST! That anger needs and outlet

Last time I was in there I had $1200 cash and knew what I wanted to buy. It would have a been a quick, simple sale for them. After trying to get someone to help me for damn near 45 minutes, I finally just left.

I spent my money with one of the fine members here on this forum instead.

(FYI... this isn't the first time I have walked out of a place of business intent on spending money but couldn't get an employee to help me out.)

I will say that it is probably uncomfortable to be traveling with $1,500 cash PERIOD, and not just because it was Marshall st in Arvada.
