    Default New Range in Loveland

There is a new indoor range in Loveland called Double Tap. Located off of 34 in a business park. It is a member's only range, but I joined because you can shoot rifles and shotguns. There are some ammo restrictions, but they are pretty cool people. Membership was $200/year + $10 to shoot. I can bring unlimited guests.
They have programable, moving targets although they only move forward and back.

It was really nice and close to my home.

What? That didn't take long. It seemed on the up and up. Maybe thier funding fell through?

A friend of mine drove by and he said there was a sign on the front door that explained that the reason they had to close was due to a death in the family. I also beleive that the range is now for sale but the price is out of my "range" (pun intended!) $2.5 Million - Ouch!!

I recently heard through a well-informed source that the current owner of Double Tap Indoor Shooting Range has decided to keep the range instead of selling it. It seems that there were not many takers with the capital to purchase the range for the full asking price.

I was told that the range should be reopening soon.

Anymore word on this? I would really like to see this range re-open and succeed.

    Thanks,
    Mark

No, I haven't heard any news in a while (I haven't been to Loveland in a few weeks). But I too wish them great success and I am eager to see the range open once again.
