I have no idea if they are open or not.

I sent an email to membership@leadvalleyrange.com and hopefully they will get back to me. If and when they do, I will post the information that they send me here.

Well, I received an email back from Lead Valley and here is the text of it.

    -----------------------------------
NO we are not open and yes we have early memberships at a discount. I will copy all info below.
Lead Valley Range is located just east of Byers Co. on highway US 36. We have set the opening for 3 to four weeks or soon after. If you have not seen what we have planed you can do so by going to our web site www.leadvalleyrange.com to see the plans. When the range is completed there will be 12 privet berms, a 50 yard range, 100 yard range, 500 yard range, 7 Trap fields, 2 Five Stands and a 24 station Sporting Clays range. This is a three year project. We will open with only the 50 yard and 1 of the privet berms. This is why we will be offering the reduced rate on the memberships that are listed on the schedule.
We believe that the cost to run the range will make the dues $150.00 a year plus a $100.00 Initiation fee. These fees will go in to effect some time late this summer. But till that time we are offering discount rates of up to five years for those who choose to join now.
Below you will find the dues schedule that we have been talking about. Also below you will find the club rules. When you look at the dues schedule you will notice that the price changes at regular intervals. All registrations will be done by E-mail. I will confirm receipt of all E-mails and let you know where you stand on the schedule and what your dues will be. At that time you will have two weeks to send your check to us or loose you place.
Also all dues will become due on anniversary date of your membership. For those of you who will take advantage of this early offering, your renewal membership will come due on the day before the range opens in 2008.
Send your E-mail to membership@leadvalleyrange.com to register for the range. You should mail your check to Lead Valley Range at 14120 E. Temple Dr. Y-12, Aurora Co. 80015 Attn: Cheryl. If you have any question you may E-mail Glenn at glenn@leadvalleyrange.com .

It does look promising to me. I think I am going to wait to join until they get the 100+ yard ranges open.
