Another newbie

Hey all, name's Ron and I joined a few days ago. Not really an active shooter, because I'm looking for a good place to go shooting. I don't have an AR, but I have a .45 auto, a .44 cap and ball revolver, a .22 rifle, and a Remington 700 30.06. Just looking for a place to go plinking, and teach my grandson about guns and how to shoot/handle them. Having some fellow shooters would be a big bonus.

This looks like a good forum, I'm anxious to find out more!

If ya give me your location maybe I can point you towards some local spots.

Our club shoots are open to all and you don't need an AR to come out and shoot. We have a North and South shoot. Kids are welcome.

Bring the grandson to a shoot and he will get to try a whol lot of different guns.

Thanks all! I think I will try to make one of the upcoming meets, and bring Cody. Sounds like I need to bring extra ammo of assorted flavors too! I'd love to try something full auto, that's always been a dream of mine.
