According to a sobering report released to "Good Morning America" by Consumer Reports magazine this morning, rice eaten just once a day can drive arsenic levels in the human body up 44 percent. Rice eaten twice a day can lead to a 70 percent increase in arsenic.

Compared to what? Please leave chicken little crap out of my forum. They say white is safer than brown and that is what we store. But once again there are no #'s just a bunch of BS like the saccharin scare.

Well, let's talk about a real rice issue then. I have a 20lb bag of rice sitting on my floor in my family room. When it rained last week, water came into the house and covered the floor. I have no idea how deep the water was, probably less than a centimeter, but I'm sure that some seeped into the seem along the bottom of the bag of otherwise dry rice. Can I just take the top 95% of rice and seal it up into something else, or will I need to toss my entire 20lb bag?
