    Apparently you have to take a Mountain Lion education test now in order to get a license.

    Yup, New Mexico's the same way. Probably some sort of new Federal Regulation...not enough of those to go around. Of course, that's if you get a hunting license for one. Not if you have to shoot one to protect oneself or one's family or livestock.

    I had one here last winter he was trying to make a hot lunch out of my dogs. I finally caught him near the dog run just about sunset and I took care of the issue.

    I knew we had mountain lions here but after some research I found that Colorado's lion population is very "healthy".

    It is a mountain lion identification quiz you take online. Then print out your card. if you loose the printed card they send you one for $5
    You can take a sample test as many times as you would like.

    Had one cross the road in front of me on hwy.115 by Ft.Carson a few years ago.
