Got mine today - so it took 90 full days for me but they said they tried to contact me a month ago to come pick it up. Woman said that things have slowed down significantly for them as far as CHP applications go. This is JeffCo

Holy crap. What the heck, did they give you any explanation?

Received my renewal permit from Mesa County Sheriff today, 44 days after submitting the application.

Interesting that the card is in a new standardized format with a CO state flag and a photo image of mountains (looks like Longs Peak) in the background, with Mesa County Colorado Concealed Handgun Permit printed over the photo. The previous permits issued here were called a 'Concealed Weapons Permit'.

Just dropped off my application today in Larimer county and the deputy replied "Ha, 90 days, It's gonna be longer than that". I'm guessing the wait is going to be long. 4 other people did their applications as well while i was there.

Just got mine today. I dropped mine off on March 18, so yeah, you're looking at longer than 90 days.

By law, they are obligated to approve or deny within 90 days, unless they have changed the statute. Don't know if stirring the pot is helpful or hindering.

Sorry for the late followup. The lady I talked to said she's the only person assigned to process them in the county, and she just had a huge backlog.

FYI: 37 days in Broomfield (July 23 to August 29).

And that includes almost a week it took me to drop off instructor's credentials, which I forgot to leave with the other paperwork.

I'm sorry to hear it's so slow in Larimer County now.

Boulder will call you for a picture & prints (or mail now I suppose it changed this year) exactly at the 90 day mark. Almost as if they delay til the end.
