I actually did try my hand at 1000 with that rifle when it was mine. I had no idea how far to come up but the target wad there so I tried a couple shots....no idea where they went. Looks good now.

How do you like the scope? I have never seen / heard of them. Worth a shit?

I've had several UTG, (AKA Leapers), optics, and have been pretty happy with them. The glass is nice and bright and the eye relief is better than some of the other scopes I've tried. It zeroed in quickly in less than a mag, and it's held it just fine so far, even with the .308's recoil. It came with the rings and flip covers, both of which are not bad. It's no ACOG, but it is very nice for the money!

I got the RRA two stage trigger, It's OK, should be factory. The best trigger breaks when you want it too, and you don't have to think or remember the pull.
