    Default 10/22 magazine reliability

I've noticed that my butler creek and ruger factory 25 round magazines pick up a lot of carbon and don't have the lifespan that I expected, has anyone found another brand or way to keep them feeding smoothly?

Go with the Ruger 25rd mags. They literally are the best ones available.

Dont buy any more Butler Creeks. They suck pretty bad.

For >10 round mags get the Tactical Innovations or MGW. I dont have any experience with the Rugers.

I had some problems with theruger bx25 mags. I removed the fasteners that hold them together and put one drop of triflo on each of the rails that the follower rides on. Now they run everything flawlessly- even subsonic.
