I've read most of the threads and links and I'm still left unsure on how to best boil water when the lights go out. Most of the methods sound short term.
The scenario is how to boil water for cooking over a period of 6 months when the normal gas and power goes out in your home. This is a bug-in scenario.
Collecting sticks for the hobo stove doesn’t seem like a good long term solution. What are your favorite choices.
