Camp food

I'm wondering what kind of response I'll get from this...
... but if weight isn't an issue and you aren't afraid to do a little extra work....

Pancakes.
Yep. Nothing like them for breakfast when you are camping. The kids love them... if we go camping and don't prepare pancakes, we for sure hear about it. Even if you just take an instant-add-water mix, it's a great pick-me-up.
And who doesn't love pancakes?

A great friend can't do pancakes. Runs through him like corn through a goose.

Just a suggestion, no beans if you are all riding in the same car for the return trip.........

I made Chicken Tortilla Soup and Jambalaya. Froze them both and just heated them up at camp. Worked great. I also make and freeze breakfast burritos so we don't have to cook early in the morning.

This.... And the frozen items help keep things in the cooler cool.
