Wow, so darn mean ;-)
Wow, you guys are mean ;-)
I agree with the logic behind saying that reoil reduction increases accuracy. They are not defining the accuracy of the rifle, but shooters in general.
Take the Knoxx shotgun stocks. The recoil is still there, you just don't feel it as much because the stock absorbs a good 35% of it. The result is that the shooter doesn't "panic" as much and can get back on target for a follow up shot, or can engage another target much faster.
I am not sure how this helps with a .223 with its neglagable recoil. But less recoil will increase reaction time no matter how light that recoil is to begin with. Less flinching is less flinching.
I have read that gas systems are supposed to be more reliable. I would say that remains to be proven in a battlefield or urban enviorment. But if you're a guy who needs to be on the cutting edge, and many of us are, then this is a great way to do that. Plus you get to keep your existing equipment. Some of us have trouble with paying that much for an upper only to sell it a year later for 1/3 the cost. Believe me, I will happily sell you a brand new Bushy Gas Piston upper (I have them on my website http://www.tacticalcity.com). But if you want to keep yours, this guy can help you upgrade it. That's not a bad option given the $1000+ sticker price of a new gas piston upper.
Hey, I don't sell this guy's product so there is nothing in it for me. It just sounds like you guys are tearing him a new one to me. I'm not sure that is fair. His product might not be your can of worms, but without evidence to the contrary, I would say it sounds like a decent product.
