North shoot location

Hey all, we're going to Estes Park this weekend, and I'm wondering if anyone can give me directions to the North Shoot location near Lyons? Or if there's any other places around Estes Park to shoot? Just me w/ the .45 and the grandkid with his .22, and the wife to watch and whine of course.

about 200 yrds east of 72 on 7 You'll see a call box on the south side of the road. the area is straight north of the call box, on the north side There will be a spot big enough for two cars, head up the hill there.

So, if we take 7 out of Estes Park back to Lyons, we'll go right by it, correct?

Yep, Just look for the call box, after You pass 72

Curious to know ... Does this location require 4WD to access it ??

No, blacktop all the way. You will need a couple of stong legs though.
