I've had similar ideas as that pistol mask. Their idea is way better developed than any of mine were. I see two issues. 1) Everyone sees you always use a different phone than the one prominently displayed on your belt. "Oh this? That's just my secret burner phone. "
2) The time you accidentally hit that release and you give everyone around you a pistol grip peep show.

I would think the big floating phone above your belt-line may draw attention. Unless you're wearing a top hat or maybe some flippers for additional distraction.

You'd think, but if you've ever open carried before you'll know that people don't really pay that much attention, especially when something is familiar. I think this would be great if you worked around different people every single day, but it'd draw way too much attention in an office setting. You can't even buy a new belt without someone commenting on it when you work with the same people every day.

I've seen worse ideas. It does look funny with the phone riding so high above the belt.

That's a lot cheaper than a wife. Heck, that's cheaper than many weddings.

I can't wait until hackers tap into the wifi and change the settings so that "talk" turns into a "nag." Or up the percentage of "What are you thinking?" to 50% of the available vocab.
