Obvious you're rhetorical, but it's just excuses to justify the plea-deal factory which would happen regardless.

It often takes the system quite awhile to realize that convicted serial sex offenders are "serial" because of this, much less how hard it is to catch them in the first place. Even rapes get pled down to assault, DV, etc. When looking at background in convictions, it's not telling.

Most telling is the guy threw out his P.C. - no doubt child crap on there and esp targeting that young, of a serious pedo nature. It's a travesty that he's not required to register as a sex offender. More than anything, that's what I would have pushed for.

I'm actually confused by tossing the P.C. Tossing it seems like the stupidest course of action if there's evidence on it. If a hard drive could send someone to the bad prison, the logical course of action is to completely destroy the magnetic platter. A secure electronic wipe (DBAN) followed by physical destruction of the platter.

I didn't find anything to suggest there was a search warrant or anything. I guess sniffing little girls panties isn't probable cause.

I wonder if he'll get his job back if/when the complaint is dismissed.
