    All the pressure's going to be in the upper receiver, isn't it? That's where the firing takes place. I'd worry about the take down pins breaking though.

    Yes, I understand physics, but my gut says this just won't hold up. Physics and engineering says that plastic is not as strong as steel or aluminum.
